ABOUT WISE

Rachel Ryan founded Wise Events after realising a need for specialised and cost effective event management services.

Rachel began her career in corporate travel which soon evolved into co-ordinating meetings and group travel. Rachel soon developed a passion for event planning, and over the past 15 years has gained a wealth of experience in all areas of event management.

She spent several years working with pharmaceutical companies and specialist medical & legal associations planning their domestic meetings and international conferences as well as managing their annual membership fees and reports.

Her path eventually led to the corporate world, where she has been involved in all aspects of event planning, including conferences and training seminars for Microsoft, car launches for Holden, corporate hospitality programme for Toyota at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, product launches for Sony, exhibition roadshows for Optus, high-end European incentives for Konica Minolta, and specialising in online registration management services for investment companies.
